Getting Started Guide
Once you have an account and have been added as Professor by an admin you should:
- Log in using the login box in the top right corner. You will get an email notification in a couple of days when your account is approved and you can start translating.
- See the Translator's Guide for more information.
- Some of the OpenACS 5.0 packages are installed so they can be translated. But not all packages are installed, and not all installed packages are fully internationalized. If there is a specific package you want added so it can be localized, please let me know. You may be asked to help internationalize it first. However, if you would like to translate one ofthe packages which is used in OpenACS but not in .LRN, you need to either use the Batch Edit interface in acs-lang/admin, or access the OpenACS-only packages directly.
As a translator you are encouraged to discuss any conventions or issues in translating into your language by starting a thread in the .LRN discussion forum. If you find bugs or have suggestions for changes of the messages keys used - please report that in the acs-lang module of the OpenACS Bug Tracker.
